QUEEN CALANTHE (9) strode forward early from her wide draw over 6¼f at Newcastle last time, leading into the straight but fading right out of it to finish eighth. Will take some running down. MOOSHAKA (1) ran fourth at her latest appearance over 5f at Queanbeyan, finishing 3.5 lengths from the winner as favourite. Sure to prove tough to stop. SHOT OUT (3) is resuming from a lay-off of eight months and having her first run for the Jim & Greg Lee yard. Was in the placings when when resuming from a lay-off last campaign at Ipswich over 6f. Ran seventh in a trial at Randwick over 3f152yards recently. Has ability and makes plenty of appeal. SENALDA (7) was beaten 7 lengths into tenth over 6f at Bathurst at her latest appearance. Suitably placed so can turn things around.
