HERE COMES HOGAN (3) broke through for his maiden win over 4½f at Scone last time. Shaping up nicely and he is a leading contender. KHALEEJ (8) was below his best last time when tenth over 6½f at Canberra, beaten 8 lengths. Facing a tougher assignment but he is good enough to take this out. SNAPPY JIM (5) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when fifth, beaten 3 lengths, over 6½f at Canberra after he was prominent at the bend. Has further improvement to come and is capable of sharp improvement. RIVER FROST (1) ran a better race last start, finishing 2.5 lengths away in fifth over 5f21yards at Moruya. Likely improver with strong top-three prospects.
