THE X O (4) is without a win after eight turf outings however looks ready to strike sooner rather than later. Trainer Robert Cowell excels with this type of sprinter and can make a winning reappearance under Ryan Moore following a good second at Doncaster (6f) in October. The unexposed FAIR WIND (3) won a competitive Ascot handicap before refusing to race at Goodwood in July and must be considered resuming. Soft ground will pose no problems for FANTASY MASTER (7) who cannot be ruled out in a belated hat-trick bid after wins at Nottingham and Chelmsford last year.
