The Charlie Appleby trained contender ran well on both starts over course and distance prior and is open to further progress making handicap debut. Dropping back to 1m on soft ground could see his stablemate WATCHING STARS (5) in a better light. BYBLOS (3) must be respected making handicap debut after following home a useful prospect tackling a track and trip novice event in October. Fellow handicap newcomer FEARNOT (1) shaped as though he'd be suited by stepping up to 1m when a strong running-on second under a penalty at Kempton last time. TRANSPARENT (2) and YABHER (6) are others to consider.
