TAVOLO (4) returned from a lay-off two weeks ago when she was beaten 2.5 lengths into fifth over 6½f at Canberra. Has a fair record when second up, including two top-three finishes. Meeting a tougher field but with added fitness she is one of the chief contenders. . And looks close to a win after finishing a close second last time out over 6f at mudgee.
