JUST BOOGIE (5) improved sharply on his fourth two starts back at Wyong with success over 1m2f at Canberra two weeks ago, getting home by 0.9 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is up to the task. BRYNNER (7) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when sixth, beaten 6 lengths, over 1m2f at Canberra. Cherry-ripe now and looks the main danger. HUNTER BRED (4) progressed nicely last start when he worked home well to finish a close second over 1m2 1/2f at Wyong after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Looks well placed so expect another big run. JACK DUGGAN (2) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 7¾f at Canterbury, beaten 3 lengths into fifth. Well placed to bounce back.
