MONTY THE MISSILE (1) ran below expectations when fresh from a lay-off at Warwick Farm over 5½f last time, finishing sixth and beaten 1.2 lengths after being prominent at the bend. Has the talent to take this out. OMAHA SAND (7) finished out of the money on debut two starts back then was beaten 3.5 lengths when sixth in a 6½f contest at Canberra two weeks ago. Must raise the bar but a win is not out of the question. HUKA FALLS (10) is a six-start maiden who could only manage to finish tenth at his latest appearance over 5f at Hawkesbury after he was well back on straightening. Cannot be ruled out in this suitable assignment. THEBES (8) resumes from a lay-off of five months. Could only manage to finish seventh at the latest run over 6½f at Wyong. Should present well following a recent trial win. Has ability so don't underestimate.
