RIVER PAT (5) ran a better race last start to finish a close second over 6¼f at Taree after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Finds a tougher race but she has the talent to test this line-up. MIZELLA (6) was safely held when fifth last start over 6½f at Hawkesbury, beaten 4 lengths. That followed a good when resuming win at Port Macquarie. Finds a suitable race and can play a major role. CAPICELLA (8) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at Wyong, beaten 4 lengths. Fitter so expect a better run this time. APACHE BREEZE (3) ran well despite being friendless in betting last time over 6f at this track, finishing second and beaten 0.6 lengths at 60/1. Backmarker who keeps coming. Don't underestimate.
