PUERTO BANUS (4) lifted strongly only to just miss last start over 5f at Wyong. Has race fitness on his side now. Ready to go one better. BOMBARD (7) has raced twice. Was fifth on debut then clocked-in 4 lengths from the winner in second last time out over 5f at Queanbeyan. Top chance this line-up. GIRLS WEEKEND (8) is a maiden galloper resuming from a lay-off after finishing 11th over 5f at Kembla Grange at the latest appearance on June 20. Fitter for two trials, placing most recently. Should be competitive. BENT AS HELL (5) finished third last start over 4½f at this track, beaten 1.5 lengths. Ready to go a couple better.
