GOGMAGOG (5) ran below expectations last time after being prominent on the bend at Hawkesbury, finishing sixth and beaten 3.5 lengths starting at 9/2. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. TURBINADO (8) finished 1.2 lengths from the winner in fourth last start after being in contention on the corner over 5f at Sandown-Hillside, an improvement on her when resuming eighth at Caulfield the run before. Finds a nice race and can find winning form. FIRE STAR (2) closed last prep with a fifth over 5½f at Gosford on February 24. Worth noting that he opened the last campaign with a minor placing at Canterbury over 5½f. Should park just off the speed despite the draw. One to consider. WILLINGALE (9) is struggling to break through but hasn't been far away, the latest effort a fourth beaten 1.1 lengths over 5f at Scone. Has a decent record at this track. Deserves respect.
