JE REVE (1) is a four-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Darryl Dodson yard. Resumes after finishing seventh at Gosford at his last run seven months ago. Not seen at the trials but looks nicely placed. Expected to go close. CITY UNITED (3) finished second on debut six-and-a-half months ago, beaten 1.5 lengths over 5½f at Warwick, and has not been produced since. In the placings in a recent Sunshine Coast Inner Track trial. Likely improver and another bold showing is on the cards. LISELLE'S LUCK (5) is a five-year-old mare on debut from the stable of J Hickmott & C Riggs. By Starspangledbanner from Princess Tyla. A good gate is sure to assist. Bold showing expected. JUST A JEWEL (11) faced the starter for the first time and finished fifth last start at this track over 5½f, beaten 3 lengths. Will be better for that run and is expected to go well.
