THE GREY KING (2) finished third at Balaklava two runs back but was less effective last time over 6f76yards at Penola, finishing 3 lengths back in sixth after being in contention on the corner. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. BYWATERS ROAD (3) doesn't win out of turn but ran a strong race last time when beaten half a length into second over 1m at Strathalbyn. Should park just off the speed. Expected to be in the finish. GRAFTON AVENUE (9) ran a better race last start when he worked home well to finish a close third over 6f at Strathalbyn after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Tackling a more suitable race so he is a major player. DISSMATIC (10) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 7¾f at Penola, beaten 2.5 lengths. Well placed to feature in the finish.
