RHINESTONE RORY (7) is a five-start maiden who finished fifth, beaten 2 lengths, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at Balaklava. Improvement to come and this is his chance to break through. BONANSKI (1) made progress last time out, finishing 2.5 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 6f at Mt Gambier after being in contention on the bend. Has the ability to figure prominently. JACOBS GATE (3) is building towards his maiden success, the latest effort a solid third over 7f at Balaklava, beaten 2.2.5 lengths. Has the class to take this out.
