DALE (6) turned in a nice effort last time out at the second run of the campaign and finished just a nose from the winner in second over 7½f at this track after being in contention on the corner. Finds a suitable race and can figure in the finish. XERXES (7) wasn't far away on debut last start over 6f at Tamworth, finishing third and beaten 0.8 lengths. Big chance based on that effort. APACHE JACK (1) backs up eight days after he was well-supported at Gilgandra and finished second over 1m. Good effort last start and is a winning chance. AIRWALKER (8) could only manage to finish 11th, beaten 30 lengths, at her latest appearance over 1m at Tamworth. Likely to be thereabouts.
