IRON HAT (5) opened this prep with a win two runs ago. Couldn't follow that up last time out when second over 5½f at Wyong, beaten a nose. Finds a suitable assignment and can get the job done. BOSS (12) returns from a layoff of six-and-a-half months. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 5f at Hawkesbury. Should be hard to stop. RIVA DEL SOL (4) turned things around last start and got the job done by half a length over 5f at Scone. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. DEEP ROUGE (6) is a six-year-old mare who is having her first run for the Wayne Brown yard. Finished off last campaign with a ninth in the LR Just Now Quality at Eagle Farm four-and-a-half months ago. Fitter for a trial win at Tamworth and has a very good when resuming record. Has to be respected.
