SEASONS OF MIST (5) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 1m at Taree, beaten 2.75 lengths. Fitter so anticipating a better run this time. BRIEF SONG (6) missed the placings on debut two starts back then ran a better race when she made late ground and finished 1.5 lengths away in fourth last time out over 1m at Tamworth. Likely improver with strong prospects. DEIFIC (2) was in the money two starts back at Dubbo but was unable to repeat the effort last time when tenth, beaten 20 lengths, at Scone over 1m3f. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. FRENCH DELIVERY (3) drifted well back last start before winding up strongly to finish second, beaten 1.2 lengths, over 1m1 1/4f at Newcastle. Can figure in the finish again.
