DIXIE WHISTLER (2) did a great job to score by 0.9 lengths over this course and distance last start in a far better run. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot repeat the dose. SHEARMAN DYER (10) was ridden quietly then made a little ground and finished 6 lengths away in fifth last time out over 1m3 1/4f at Morphettville Parks two weeks ago. Steps up in journey. Won't find this assignment as tough. Should be in the finish. FOX GEM (9) has recently been thereabouts without winning, the latest effort a second over 1m2f at this track. Can feature on his best form. LAKE'S FOLLY (1) ran below expectations last start, finishing fifth and beaten 4 lengths at this track over 1m4 1/2f. Well placed to turn things around.
