DON'T CROSS JACK (8) showed good early speed and led throughout to score by 1.3 lengths last start over 5½f at this track (Dirt). Sure to take some stopping again. SMOOTH RICO (7) got the prize two runs ago at Laurel. Less impressive last time out when seventh over 6f at Pimlico, beaten 19 lengths. This doesn't look as hard so he can make amends. MAGNA RULER (1) did a great job to score by 5.5 lengths over this course and distance last start to maintain his good form of late. Meets some better types this time but this looks well within his grasp. CHARGER (4) dug deep to score in a then was beaten 5 lengths into fourth over 1m at this track (Dirt) last time six weeks ago. Reunites with Erik Barbaran which is a proven winning combination. Don't underestimate.
