ROMANTIC JEWEL (5) is building towards a win with placings at her last two runs, the latest effort a third over 5½f at Mahoning Valley (Dirt) when beaten 3.5 lengths. Has good early toe so she should be handy in the run. Sure to be in the finish. LOLA FLO (6) resumes in a similar race to her last run four-and-a-half months ago when seventh, beaten 17 lengths. Rates highly and is likely to be prominent. WAY TO FIRE (1) comes here off a break of four-and-a-half months. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 6f at this track. Yet to win when resuming but generally runs well with five minor placings from six tries. Worth plenty of thought. HERE COMES LOVIE (4) returns from a lay-off of five months. Was safely held at the only appearance last prep when fourth over 6f at this track (Dirt). Backmarker who keeps coming. Sure to be competitive.
