AMBER NOOK (6) showed early speed from an outside draw last time to lead throughout and score by 1.1 lengths over 1m1f at Clare. Expected to take some stopping again. LUCANIA (3) progressed nicely last start to finish a close third over 1m2f at Colac after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. MAKEWHOLE (4) finished second last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 1m at Colac, beaten 3.5 lengths. Nicely placed to go one better. INHERENTLY (1) got off the mark over 1m2f at Colac last start, scoring by a long neck. Must be respected now that the penny has dropped.
