FINE VINTAGE (3) showed good speed to lead over 6¼f at Canterbury last start but faded right out of it to finish eighth. Should park just off the speed. Expected to be in the finish. YOUR NOT THE BOSS (7) showed little early speed last start and failed to come on in the straight when 13th, beaten 7 lengths, over 7f at Kembla Grange. Has the talent to find the winners' list. KATTEGAT (1) missed the placings two starts back when resuming then ran a better race and finished 4 lengths away in sixth last time out over 6f at Canberra after being in the firing line on the turn. Likely improver with strong prospects. CANI CANCAN (6) scored last start at Sapphire Coast to make it two wins from three starts this campaign. Deserves respect.
