ARRAN BAY (3) did a good job last start to finish second in the LR Sale Cup over 1m, beaten a long neck. Cherry-ripe now. Is capable of featuring. TEST THE LAW (4) wasn't far away last time out, finishing fourth over 7½f at Gawler. Won't be bothered by this longer journey. Expected to run well. AIR ASSAULT (1) finished 6 lengths away in tenth last time out over 7f at Caulfield two-and-a-half weeks ago. Tackles a longer journey this time. Strong record with Jason Holder aboard, including six wins. Expected to measure up. MIDNIGHT MASS (6) drifted back from his wide draw last time then hit the line hard to finish second at Gawler over 7½f. Form this track is hard to knock with two wins from six starts. Not to be discounted.
