BEAUTY BOUND (15) was a new acquisition for the Phillip Stokes team last start when she made steady ground to run into second over 4½f at Murray Bridge at the first run back from a lay-off. One of the genuine hopes in the race. HYPERNOVA (6) is racing well, scoring in a at Murray Bridge before finishing a long neck from the winner in second last time over 6f at Murray Bridge. Winning rider Kayla Crowther sticks. Bold showing expected. IPHIMEDIA (7) doesn't win out of turn, scoring just once from 11 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fifth over 5f at Cranbourne, beaten 2.75 lengths. Meeting a deeper field this time but she is up to the challenge. MERCURY EIGHT (8) was a most impressive maiden winner over 5¼f at Balaklava last time out, scoring by 2.75 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Alan Lai was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the ride. Tougher task this time but expected to be competitive again.
