CAVITY BAY (8) ran a little below her best last start when eighth over 1m in the G2 Edward Manifold Stakes at Flemington. May appreciate the longer journey this time. Should camp just off the leaders. Will play a major role. GOLDRUSH GURU (1) is close to breaking through, last start finishing just half a length away in second over 1m at this track after being in contention all the way. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is capable of testing his rivals. DISCREETLY BLUE (6) is a talented gelding who tackled tougher grade last time, finishing 7 lengths behind Evaporate over 1m in the G2 Bill Stutt Stakes at Moonee Valley. Hasn't been far away this time in work with two minor placings from three starts. Strong claims on best figures. TALISAY (9) comes here off a last-start third, beaten 2.75 lengths, over 1m at this track. One of the contenders.
