NEW YORK SCANDAL (11) bounced back last start and scored by 2.2.5 lengths over 7¾f at Morphettville Parks. Nicely placed to keep the ball rolling. MERCHANT BOSS (4) built on a nice second two starts back at Morphettville Parks with success as public elect over 7f at Mt Gambier a week-and-a-half ago, getting home by 2.5 lengths. Taking on a better field but he is capable of running another bold race. ALMONTI (5) fought on for third last start over 1m2f at Ballarat, making it two minor placings in a row. Meets some better types this time but he has the ability to test this field. LOMAX (7) turned in a fine effort to win by a long neck at this track and distance last start to maintain his good form of late. Nicely placed to feature in the finish again.
