RAW GRUNT (13) travelled in a rearwards position then made some inroads and finished 3 lengths away in sixth last time out over 7f131yards at this track two weeks ago. Tackles a longer journey this time. Sure to prove very tough to beat. ALMONTI (1) finished eighth two runs back at Morphettville Parks then improved last time out to score by half a length over 1m1/2f at Geelong. Must raise the bar but another big run is on the cards. REBEL CONSORTIUM (14) turned in a decent effort last start to finish third over 1m1f at this track. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. SILENT DON (4) has not won for a long while. Last raced on August 24 when beaten 1.4 lengths into fifth at Morphettville Parks over 7¾f. Can break the run of outs.
