Group 3 placegetter PRESS DOWN (3) disappointed at his last run ten weeks ago when 11th in the LR Santa Ana Lane Sprint Series Final at Flemington, that effort following back-to-back wins. Good effort at the start of last prep to fill a minor placing over 5½f at this track. Expected to return in fine order. SGHIRRIPA (1) Group 3 winner. Returns from a break of four-and-a-half months. Consistent performer last prep whose most recent appearance resulted in a eighth over 6f at this track. Nicely placed to kick off another successful campaign. Group 3 placegetter MARBLE NINE (12) comes here off a last-start fourth, beaten 4 lengths, over 5½f at Caulfield. Has definite claims. LINGANI (10) scored last start at Morphettville Parks to make it four wins and two placings from six starts this campaign. Goes up a notch this time but is not to be discounted.
