PEGASI (7) has had two runs since a break, the latest a fourth over 5½f in the LR Durbridge Stakes at this track, beaten 2 lengths. Group 3 placegetter MAGIC MAX (8) drifted back and never threatened when sixth last start over 5f at Moonee Valley. This is a nice drop in grade so he is perfectly placed to score. Group 2 placegetter MANHATTEN TIMES (3) resumed last time out and finished fifth over 5½f at this track, beaten 2.25 lengths. Everything points to a big run.
