SIMEON (1) finished ninth two runs back at Moonee Valley then improved last time out to score by a nose as favourite after being in contention on the bend over 7½f at Cranbourne. Taking on a better line-up this time but he is good enough to play a major role. TITAN OF CHOICE (4) finished second two runs back at Pakenham then improved last time out to score by 1.3 lengths as favourite over 1m at Pakenham. Meets a stronger field but he is good enough to score again. MYRTLE CREEK (7) lines up on the back of a 2.75 lengths fourth over 1m at this track as favourite. Worth plenty of thought. STARWISP (5) was safely held when 12th last time out over 1m3/4f at Geelong, beaten 11 lengths, after a win at Terang at the previous outing. Best figures measure up so deserves another chance.
