GRINDING AWAY (3) is a 19-start maiden who could only manage to finish seventh at his latest appearance over 1m2f at Ballarat. Rates highly in this field and can turn things around. ROYAL BEAU (4) is a four-start maiden who could only manage to finish fifth at his latest appearance over 1m at Yea. Among the chances in what looks a nice race for him. THIBLOS (5) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 6 lengths away in ninth over 1m1 3/4f at Morphettville Parks. Better than recent efforts suggest.
