Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. SHOCKSTAR (5) recorded a gutsy maiden victory last time out over 7½f at this track, scoring by half a length. Looks well placed and he is a solid top-three hope. MAJORITY INTEREST (9) has been in the market at his last couple of runs but failed to threaten, the latest effort a modest fifth at Traralgon over 1m1 1/2f. Likely improver worth including. WAILUA (1) worked home well and finished third last time over 1m1 1/2f at Kyneton, beaten half a length. Will trim down following recent racing. Placed to advantage and can run a bold race.
