MARBLE NINE (9) followed an unplaced effort when resuming two runs back with a third last start over 5½f at Flemington after being in contention on the corner. Meets a stronger field but he is capable of running a bold race. MAJOR SHARE (8) was safely held when fifth last time out over 4¾f at this track, beaten 4.5 lengths.
