PRANCING SPIRIT (8) followed an unplaced effort when resuming two runs back with a third last start over 6f at Caulfield after being in contention on the turn. Has the ability to figure prominently. TOP CALIBRE (13) came home strongly last start to finish third, beaten 0.8 lengths, over 6f at Flemington when fresh from a lay-off. Goes very well at this journey, boasting three wins from four starts and is sure to go well. PIVOT CITY (5) returned from a lay-off last start with a strong win by a nose over 6f at Flemington. Fitter for that last hitout and this looks well within his grasp. LUNA CAT (9) is a consistent performer with three minor placings from four starts this campaign. Continued the trend last time out when runner-up over 5½f at Caulfield. Nicely placed to feature in the finish.
