Group 3 placegetter JUST BERRILLIANT (7) got well back over 1m1/4f at Flemington last time and never threatened, eventually finishing 5.5 lengths away in tenth. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is one of the key runners. MUSGRAVE (12) finished 3.5 lengths away in seventh last time out over 1m1/2f at Warrnambool a week-and-a-half ago. Tackles a longer journey this time. Will drift back but wind up late. Leading contender. BIT OF A REBEL (1) went forward and proved too strong last time, scoring with 0.6 lengths to spare over 1m1f at Halidon. Is going well this campaign, recording a win and two minor placings from six starts. Capable of going well. REBADGE (3) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Ballarat, finishing fourth and only 1.75 lengths from the winner at the end of 1m2f. Looks well placed so expect a bold display.
