QUANTUM CAT (1) has had two runs since a break, the latest a fourth over 1m2f at Caulfield, beaten 1.4 lengths. THE GENIUS (4) returned from a lay-off last start with a strong win by 0.8 lengths over 1m2 1/4f at Cranbourne. Fitter for that last hitout and must be respected. Multiple Group 3 placegetter UP AND UNDER (2) finds it hard to win with just one success from 12 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fifth over 1m1f at Rosehill, beaten 2.25 lengths. Perfectly placed and is sure to play a major role. FLAMIN' ROMANS (5) did well to score two runs ago then turned in a decent effort last time out when second over 1m2f at Caulfield, beaten half a length. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time.
