REGAL ZEUS (4) improved sharply on his ninth two starts back at Flemington with a win over 1m at Sandown-Hillside a week-and-a-half ago, getting home by 3.5 lengths after being in contention on the corner. Meets a stronger field but he is capable of another big run. RACKEMANN (9) proved too strong two runs ago at Sale. Not as effective last time out when ninth over 7½f at Sandown-Hillside, beaten 6 lengths after being in contention on the corner. Going up a level this time but he has the ability to bounce back. ASPEN COLORADO (16) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing fifth at Gawler over 1m1/2f after being in contention on the turn. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is worth another chance. REGAL POM (2) hit the frame when resuming two runs back at Sandown-Lakeside but couldn't back it up last start when eighth, beaten 7 lengths, over 7f at Caulfield. Nicely placed to make amends.
