PORTIS (4) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid second at this track (Dirt) over 1m after being prominent from the outset. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is right in contention. TRICOLOUR (6) gets a change of rider and has been freshened up since finishing sixth over 1m at this track (Dirt) last start. Forgive that latest effort. In the mix. P J'S SONG (2) turned in a sound effort last time but found one better at this track (Dirt) over 1m, beaten one length. Should be at his peak now. Yet to find winning form this prep but has been thereabouts with two placings from four starts. Has to be respected. LAKE CHAPALA (7) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid second at this track (Dirt) over 1m1/2f. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways.
