THE SUGARS (5) is a three-start maiden who resumed from a lay-off last start and was beaten 5 lengths when eighth over 5½f at Saratoga (Turf). Fitter and capable of taking this out. PRETTY SHY (9) finished seventh two runs back on debut then improved last start but found a couple better over 7½f at Gulfstream Park, beaten 4 lengths after being in contention on the corner. Needs to be at her best to beat this field but she deserves plenty of thought. HOPEFORGREATNESS (8) is a five-start maiden who finished eighth at her most recent outing over 5½f at Parx (Dirt). Finds the right race and is worth consideration. CROSSATI (6) didn't do a lot on debut three weeks ago, finishing 10 lengths from the winner in fifth over 6f at this track (Dirt). Open to plenty of improvement. Must be respected.
