REDELLA (6) started at 15/2 last time and ran below expectations, finishing fifth and beaten 8 lengths at Werribee over 1m5 1/2f after being in the firing line on the corner. Likely improver with strong prospects. SHEZAVIXEN (5) went forward and gave a great sight before finishing second last time out over 1m2f at Wangaratta. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. THE KINGS GOSPEL (1) is a distance specialist who was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he was always well out of his ground over 1m2 1/4f at this track, beaten 6 lengths into sixth. Likely improver with strong prospects. BIRD DOG (3) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 7 lengths away in tenth over 1m2f at Stawell. Suitably placed so can turn things around.
