LORD PROTECTOR (2) remains a maiden after eight runs. Had plenty of admirers last time and finishing a close second over 1m1 1f at Tatura. Meets a tougher line-up this time but is capable of featuring. SHOGUN EXPRESS (3) just missed last time when a neck away in second at Seymour over 1m2f. Should be in the finish again. BLAZING BURJ (6) was in contention on the corner and finished third last start over 1m5f at Cranbourne, beaten 5 lengths. Beautifully placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. OUR BONNIO MISS (8) finished third last time over 1m2 1/2f at Cranbourne, beaten 2.25 lengths. Tackling a more suitable race this time so she is a major player.
