BUNJIL (1) produced a reasonable effort when third last start over 7½f at Yarra Valley, beaten 2.5 lengths. That followed a win at Great Western the start prior. Likely improver with strong prospects. TRIGGERIFIC (2) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Yarra Valley, finishing second and only a long neck from the winner at the end of 7½f after being prominent at the turn. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. NIGHT ERUPTION (8) settled well back last start and never threatened when 6 lengths from the winner in seventh over 7f at Sale. Perfectly placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. PEPPINO (5) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m at Stony Creek, beaten 11 lengths into seventh. Better than recent efforts suggest.
