UNCLE B (9) was well in commission when resuming last start over 5½f at this track (Dirt) when third, beaten 2.5 lengths. Good record at this journey with three wins and 12 minor placings from 20 starts and is a leading contender. BOURBON AND ICE (5) could only manage sixth on dirt over 5½f at Laurel in a then couldn't find the top-three on turf over 5½f at Laurel more recently. Better placed and can make amends. FISHING FOR FUN (11) doesn't win out of turn but ran a strong race last time out over 6f at this track (Dirt), finishing second and beaten 2 lengths after being in contention on the bend. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. THE LAST FACT (6) improved last time out, finishing one length from the winner in second at the end of 6f at Fairmount Park. Suitably placed so he can be prominent again.
