BLUE NOMORE (9) went forward last start over 6f at Thistledown (Dirt) and held on well for third, beaten 2.25 lengths. Has to overcome a tricky draw. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot salute. VECCHI (7) was a gutsy winner last time over 1m at Thistledown (Dirt), scoring by one length and making it two wins in a row. Hard to knock recent runs and looks a definite winning hope again. LINO'S KID (10) is a distance specialist who bounced back last start and landed the prize by one length after being in the firing line on the bend over 1m at Belterra Park (Dirt). This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is right in contention. ORFANO (2) was in contention on the corner and finished second last time over 6f at Belterra Park (Dirt) when resuming from a lay-off, beaten 2.75 lengths. Nicely placed to fill a top-three spot again.
