LA REINA DEL NORTE (8) made progress last start to finish second over 5½f at this track after being in the firing line on the turn. Nicely placed to find winning ways. TIDAL WATERS (7) is resuming from a lay-off of four-and-a-half months and having her first run for the Julie A Pappada yard. Was in the placings when when resuming from a lay-off last campaign at Presque Isle Downs (Synthetic) over 6f. Sure to be primed for this and a bold showing is anticipated. NORTHERN JOURNEY (6) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest at this track over 5½f. Erik Barbaran has registered two minor placings when on board. Expected to measure up. LUCKY ROAD (4) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a sixth over 5½f at this track (Dirt). Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time.
