TRICKETEER (1) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 0.6 lengths from the winner in second over 6f at this track after being prominent at the bend. Finds a tougher race but he has the ability to test this field. LAMENTUM (5) lifted strongly to salute by 5 lengths three runs back at Rockhampton before filling a minor placing at his last two starts. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. Will play a major role. WIN AND TONIC (3) went close to breaking through last start, beaten only a long neck over 5f at Townsville. Has a win and two minor placings at this journey from four starts and is right in the mix. RICH DIVINITY (4) was in contention on the corner and finished second last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 5½f at this track, beaten one length. Will benefit from that outing. Capable of another strong performance.
