ACROPHOBIC (1) finished fourth when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5½f at Rockhampton, beaten 1.5 lengths. The engagement of Justin P Stanley is noteworthy as it has proved a formidable combination. Looks tough to beat with the first run back out of the way. BENCOOLEN (4) turned in an eye-catching run over 6½f at Townsville last time, ridden back before coming home with a powerful run to finish third. Watch for another barnstorming finish. FLYING MAPLE (6) was a winner over 5½f at this track last time out, dropping out early before coming home with a powerful run to score by 0.6 lengths. Has a strong record at this course, scoring two times from four starts. Capable of a big run. CAVENTE (5) turned things around last start and got the job done by 0.6 lengths over 6f at this track. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake.
