Has a decent record at this trip with five minor placings from seven tries and is among the leading chances. EARLY FUSION (1) pushed forward and went on to record a determined win last start by 1.5 lengths over 6f at Rockhampton. Likely to push forward from the wide draw. Looks well placed so expect another big run. TRICKETEER (4) built on a nice second two starts back at Yeppoon with a win as public elect over 6½f at this track a week-and-a-half ago, getting home by 0.6 lengths. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. Finds a nice race and can atone.
