BOYFRIEND MATERIAL (7) is a four-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Jared Wehlow stable. Finished off last campaign with a eighth at Bairnsdale 11 weeks ago. Hasn't trialled publicly but looks well placed. Should prove tough to beat. ONE PERCENT (1) produced a nice effort on debut in better company last start over 6½f at Rockhampton when second, beaten a nose. Has plenty of upside so he should be in the finish again. LADY DE VEGA (12) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 0.6 lengths from the winner in second over 5½f at this track. Looks well placed so expect another big run. ME TIME (8) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 5 lengths away in seventh over 6½f at Rockhampton. Nicely placed to find some form.
