THE PUNISHER (1) is having his first run since winning by 1.3 lengths three-and-a-half weeks ago over 7f at Sunshine Coast. Has transferred to the Toni Schofield stable over the break. Rates highly and expected to go well. BUSH DIAMOND (3) didn't do a bad job when third last start after being in the firing line on the turn over 6f at Rockhampton, beaten 2 lengths. That followed a win at Emerald the start prior. Justin P Stanley gets the best out of this four-year-old gelding. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he is good enough to play a major role. SPEC OF SILVER (8) got home by 4 lengths last time out over 6f at this track. Has a good record at this track with two wins and two minor placings. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Winning claims on best figures. SENNAPROST (4) ran below expectations last start, finishing fifth and beaten 5 lengths at Rockhampton over 6½f. Well placed to atone.
