EL OF A SENORITA (10) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1m at Rockhampton, beaten only 1.5 lengths. Likely improver with strong prospects. TAVISTEEL (2) last appeared two-and-a-half weeks ago over 1m2f at Atherton when she finished fourth. This is her first run for the Steven Royes stable. Leading hope who should be tough to stop. Solid top-three chance for the new barn. BLUE RAY (3) proved too strong two runs ago at this track. Less impressive last time out when ninth over 7¾f at this track, beaten 3 lengths. Must raise the bar but a big run is on the cards. LEICA BITA FUN (11) was in the money two starts back at Gladstone but couldn't back it up last time when eighth, beaten 6 lengths, at Rockhampton over 1m. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time.
